The International School of Laos was established as the Eastern Star Bilingual School in 2006 in Vientiane Capital, Laos. The Main Campus commenced its operation with only 200+ students. The number of enrollments doubled in 2007. The Main Campus is divided into Primary, Secondary and Kindergarten. Since its operation in 2006, the Primary Department has offered co-ed class 1-5 programs, and the Secondary Department offers co-ed Class Matayom-1 to 3 programs.
In just one year, Eastern Star established its 2nd Campus in Vientiane in Watnak village, started its operation in 2007 as a Kindergarten and Daycare facility, and then moved to its current location in Thongkang village in 2016. The new International School of Laos Thongkang Campus established its Primary department after the extension project and now serves Toddlers to Primary.
ISL is located at 23 Singha Road, Nongbone Village, Saysettha District, Vientiane, Laos, making it easily accessible from central Vientiane and nearby residential areas.
