ISL school policies aim to provide a safe environment physically and mentally for students,teachers and our community.
Admission Policy
• Enrollment contracts are valid for a period of one academic year. These are terminated without notice at the end of the academic year.
• Applicants must submit the following documents to the Office:
-Applicant’s Birth Certificate or copy of ID card
-Previous School Records
-Accomplished Admission Form
• New students are first interviewed by a member of administration team,then he will sit for the admission test(English,Maths,Lao language).
Attendance:
Regular school attendance is crucial for student success, reflected in academic performance, social development, and future opportunities. Attending school improves grades, fosters essential life habits like punctuality and responsibility, and strengthens social connections among students.
Attendance is taken at the beginning and at the end of a lesson. The teacher will note it on Edupage.
Health/Well- being
• Parents are required to communicate in writing at the beginning of the school year any allergies their child/children may have.
• The campus has a full-time nurse who attends to the medical needs of the students during the school hours
• The usage of all electronic communication devices is not allowed during the school day, except during times designated in electronic device policy. Use of these devices during the restricted times will result in confiscation and/or disciplinary action.
• No food from outside.The school has a dining hall and a canteen to provide healthy,safe certified food.
• Bullying is strictly not allowed. Any form of bullying is reported to the management and essential steps are taken in cooperation with the parents.
• We have security guards on campus 24 hours a day. Security cameras are located in the hallways, classrooms, laboratories, and front and back entrances of the school site.
• School Administration reserves the right to check any personal property brought on campus.
