Graduating Students’ Discussion on Lifelong Positive Character Traits to Primary 1

Character development is the foundation for lifelong learning.
Schools that teach character education report improved academic performance and reduced disciplinary problems. Children appreciate a safe environment when their peers are also respectful, honest, and compassionate.

At ISL, we explicitly teach Character Education from a young age as we believe that early exposure to character education matters in developing respectful and responsible youth.

Our exemplary graduating students, Gr 12 Oxford, looked back on their ISL school life experiences, and when given the opportunity on their English Project, decided to conduct a discussion on Lifelong Positive Character Traits to one of their youngest families at ISL, the Grade 1 students. As a way of giving back to the school community where they thrive, find fulfilment, and grow up, with the intention of influencing the next generation for the greater good.
